Burning at the waterline
This is a photo of a GDMC diver burning at P/F South Pass 77A ( CHEVRON /TEXACO ) just offshore of the mouth of the Mississippi river. The current here is so bad you have to hold on with one hand while trying to keep your rod burning where you need it. It wasn't easy each diver did 3 hours. at this depth , if you call it depth. Not only the surge and current but you had to tolerate the shocking from your body/ torch conducting when surge / waves put you out of water.
I want to congratulate all the crew on this job, there was not a single complaint from being there, aka bitching.
